History

Valley Wide of PA Federal Credit Union was issued a Organization Certificate on March 16, 1955 and was approved on May 3, 1955, under the previous name VDN Federal Credit Union.  Our Charter was issued under #10264 with an office in Tarentum, PA. On October 20, 2006, our office was relocated from 210 Fourth Ave (which was our original office location since we charted our credit union some fifty years ago) to 312 East Sixth Ave for one year and then to our current location at 209 East Fifth Ave. On June 24, 2008 the NCUA approved a name change to "Valley Wide of PA Federal Credit Union", which was adopted by the Board of Directors on August 20th, 2008.
