Who is eligible to
join?

In accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act of 2001, which requires Central Valley FCU to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Central Valley FCU is required to obtain basic identifying information from you and verify that information when you open a new account.
This means the staff at Central Valley FCU will ask you for some basic information such as your name, address, date of birth, and other information designed to help us identify you. The staff will also ask to see documents identifying you such as a social security card, driver's license, passport, and/or some other government-issued document.
Protection of our member's identify and confidentiality is the credit union's pledge to you. Central Valley FCU appreciates your patience and understanding as we all do our part in complying with the new account identification procedures required by the federal USA Patriot Act of 2001.
Central Valley Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not for profit financial cooperative that is dedicated to providing quality financial products and services delivered in a professional and courteous manner.

Membership in Central Valley Federal Credit Union is open to employees and family or household members of the following companies:

Membership is open to organizations and employee groups in the Arnold/New Kensington area. As a Select Employee Group you can enhance your employee benefits package at no cost. To learn more about credit union membership for your group, contact John Gulick at (724) 335-2141.
Family members of existing credit union members are also eligible to join. Family members include parents, grandparents, children, siblings and step-family members. Household members of an eligible employee may also join.
Our policy of "once a member, always a member" means you may continue your membership regardless of your employment status.
Members are required to open and maintain a share savings account with a minimum opening deposit of $50.00. There is also a one-time membership fee of $1.00 required to join.
How do I start a
membership account?
A. To
start your membership you must open a share savings account (there is also a one-time membership fee of $1.00 required to join) with a deposit of $50.00
which will give you ownership in CENTRAL VALLEY FCU.
